L’AGENCY is looking for a PR Manager to join our Brands and PR team. L’AGENCY is a full-service media agency providing services such as influencer campaigns, brand activations, content strategies, and PR. In this role, the PR Manager is both a strategic leader and a hands-on contributor, balancing strong client relationships with thoughtful campaign direction, media outreach, and new business development. You actively expand the agency’s visibility by building relationships with key journalists, stylists, influencers, and cultural shapers.
Working across media campaigns, brand events, influencer marketing and press strategy, you bring structure, creativity, and industry insight to everything you do. This role combines strategic thinking, relationship-building, and operational excellence, supporting the PR Director and Managing Director while helping clients unlock meaningful impact.
1. Client Relationship Management & Strategic Leadership
- Senior client point of contact: Manage your own portfolio of senior-level clients, ensuring day-to-day needs are met and long-term goals are understood and executed.
- Strategic advisory: Act as a trusted partner, advising clients on press strategy, brand positioning, cultural relevance, and influencer integration.
- Client communication: Lead regular check-ins, present reports and updates, and ensure clarity on expectations and deliverables.
- New business development: Identify potential opportunities, lead outreach and proposal creation, and take ownership of pitching and closing new client relationships.
- Partnership building: Create and seize opportunities for clients, opening doors and building relationships with key figures in the industry.
2. Media & Influencer Relations
- Press outreach: Maintain and expand relationships with journalists, editors, stylists, influencers, and cultural connectors.
- Press mailings & storytelling: Write, format, and send press releases, backgrounders, and event invitations, actively pitching and following up to secure coverage.
- Coverage tracking: Monitor print, online, social, and influencer coverage; compile weekly or monthly reports reflecting results and learnings.
- Influencer campaign management: Identify talent, coordinate partnerships, manage deliverables, and track performance to amplify brand impact.
3. Campaign & Event Management
- Concept development: Lead and contribute to PR concepts, brand moments, and cultural activations.
- Project oversight: Manage timelines, deliverables, production needs, and stakeholder coordination to ensure smooth execution.
- Event hosting & production: Plan, coordinate, and oversee events - from press previews to influencer moments to grand activations - ensuring meaningful attendance and brand alignment.
- Quality review: Ensure all materials, press moments, and influencer outputs are polished, impactful, and on-brand.
4. Reporting, Budgeting & Operational Excellence
- Performance tracking: Create reports outlining media retention, influencer engagement, and event outcomes, adapting strategy where needed.
- Budget & quotation management: Prepare proposals, create quotations, track budgets, and take the lead in contract negotiations.
- Team guidance: Support and guide freelancers and interns.
Key Requirements
- Dutch native speaker with fluent English communication skills (written and spoken)
- 3–5 years of experience in PR or communications (agency experience preferred)
- Strong media and influencer network, and the ability to continuously expand it
- Experience coordinating brand events, activations, and press moments
- Excellent writing and storytelling ability
- Skilled in project and account management, with the ability to oversee multiple campaigns at once
- Strategic mindset paired with hands-on execution
- Strong eye for cultural relevance and brand alignment
- Collaborative attitude and experience guiding junior colleagues
